ReadOpera is the brainchild of Valentina Codognotto, an Italian native speaker, with twenty years’ experience of teaching Italian diction to opera singers and students.
As well as teaching at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin and the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar, Valentina has worked as artistic language coach with international opera singers on CD and radio recordings (Sony, WDR) and at festival productions (Händelfestspiele Halle, Glyndebourne Festival).
Her recent activities include a collaboration on the online edition of Mozart librettos by the International Mozarteum Foundation in Salzburg.
